Tech company LG recently teamed up with video game publisher Activision to find out once and for all which players are the 'best' gamers: PC, PS4, or Xbox?
The study initially started to market Call of Duty Dark Ops 4, utilized LG's Elite Reaction Test, with participants asked to click on targets as fast as they can in a bid to ascertain player accuracy.
Over 1,400 people were asked to share in the test.
According to LG, the study found Xbox players ' are'better' in video games compared to those who favor PC and PS4, together with PC players coming dead past -- I'm confident that can go down well with them.
The study found, typically, Xbox players reach 78 percent of their targets, PS4 players handled 74 percent, and PC got 70 percent.
It's worth noting, while PC players struggled with accuracy, they did react fastest to the targets -- though I'm not sure that is worth much if their pace didn't equate to precision?
Having looked in the test' myself, I can not speak for its viability. After all, the evaluation first lets you affirm your platform of preference, meaning people could have whined about what platform they use.
There's also the very great chance LG didn't end up with an even split of gamers across platforms, which would throw the scores out of whack.
The evaluation appears to be more of a marketing gimmick than an actual scientific effort, particularly given the truth LG advertising manager David Hall, shared the results in a press release together with a plug for your organization's new selection of 4K HDR gambling TVs.
For now, it appears the console war is destined to rage on.
